Biden’s Office Reveals His Diagnosis with Aggressive Prostate Cancer

(MENAFN) Former U.S. President Joe Biden, 82, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, his personal office revealed Sunday. The statement indicated the cancer, classified with a high Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5), has spread to his bones.

The diagnosis followed reports of urinary symptoms, prompting medical examinations that revealed a "small nodule" on his prostate.

In the official statement, it was mentioned that, "The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians."

Notably, Biden, who served as U.S. President from January 2021 to January 2025, was 82 years old during his time in office, making him the oldest U.S. president.
