Manchester United Signs Cunha from Wolverhampton

(MENAFN) Manchester United, a prominent club in the English Premier League, has finalized a deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers to acquire Matheus Cunha.

The official statement on Manchester United’s website did not disclose any specifics regarding the agreement with the Brazilian forward.

According to British media reports, the Red Devils triggered the EURO62.5 million (approximately USD83.5 million) release clause in Cunha’s contract, successfully signing the 26-year-old attacker on a five-year contract.

Cunha, who transferred to Wolverhampton from the Spanish team Atletico Madrid in 2023, has netted 17 goals across 36 appearances for the club.
