Osaka Murder-Suicide Unfolds: Four Discovered Dead Including Two Toddlers
Emergency services were alerted at approximately 6:20 a.m. local time after reports surfaced of a man who had collapsed on a street in Suita City. The 26-year-old male victim was transported to a hospital but was declared dead shortly thereafter, a Japanese news outlet reported.
Following this, police officers conducted a search of the man’s nearby residence and uncovered the bodies of a woman and two young girls. Each victim showed signs of abdominal injuries accompanied by visible blood, the report indicated.
Officials identified the home by linking personal items found with the man. Inside the apartment, investigators also recovered a bloodied edged weapon and an apparent suicide note, believed to have been authored by the man.
Law enforcement suspects the woman and the two children—aged one and two—were family members connected to the deceased man.
