Raids by more than 100 Ukrainian drones prevented instantly
Unlike previous nights, there were no reported drone incursions over the Moscow Region, which had been a frequent target of Ukrainian UAV attacks in recent days.
Ukraine has ramped up drone operations significantly this week. Between Tuesday and Friday, Russian forces claim to have downed a total of 776 drones.
The Russian Foreign Ministry reported that the recent UAV strikes have resulted in one fatality and left 20 people injured, including four children. Moscow accused Kiev of carrying out these "terror attacks against civilians" in an effort to sabotage the ongoing peace talks, which are being facilitated by U.S. President Donald Trump's administration.
The ministry added that Russia will retaliate for the drone strikes, but emphasized that its responses will be directed solely at military and defense-related targets—unlike Ukraine’s alleged attacks on civilian areas.
