BIST 100 Sees Slight Uptick as Market Opens
On Monday, the BIST 100 experienced a notable rise of 2.7%, closing at 10,484.39 points.
The trading volume for the day reached 146.5 billion Turkish liras (around $3.49 billion), indicating a high level of market activity.
As of 10:15 am local time (07:15 GMT), the currency exchange rates were as follows: 41.9670 Turkish liras per US dollar, 48.8275 per euro, and 56.2070 per British pound.
In commodity markets, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,333.95, while Brent crude oil was priced at $60.60 per barrel.
